Chapter 4 – Life Is Different In Sudan – Photo Album

This chapter is only a random collection of pictures to give you a sample of every day life in Sudan. 

 

Rumbek, a city of 100,000 people has one car dealership.

My favorite baker in Rumbek, hard at work in the tin walled, tin roofed kitchen . Its always 100+ degrees and the oven is outside. No sweat in the batter here!!!

These are girls that live in one of the area cattle camps.

When the cattle herds have to be moved miles and miles in search of grass, the newborn calves must be carried. This herd will travel for several days before finding greener pastures.

This donkey knows his way home. The guy on the bicycle is just hitching a tow, no pedaling needed.
